About Us

GoGreen Environmentally Safe Cleaning Services & Supplies brings
environmentally safe cleaning options to the homes and businesses of
Brooklyn. Owner Wayne Miles evolved the GoGreen concept from the
residential and commercial cleaning business that he started more than
25 years ago. In 2002, spurred by his own healthy lifestyle changes,
Miles began to transform his cleaning business in 2002, incorporating
non-toxic cleaning alternatives when available. Today, GoGreen’s
cleaning services are Green Certified by the directors of the United States
Green Building Council, and their client list includes homeowners and
renters, businesses, government, schools and churches.

The GoGreen storefront at 485 Atlantic Street opened in September of
2006 to address a growing consumer demand for a better selection of
not-toxic products than found in traditional groceries, natural food stores,
discount and hardware stores. The store now stocks dozens of products,
including building supplies such as adhesives, caulk and not-toxic paint.
Miles plans to build GoGreen into a one-stop-shop for environmentally
conscious consumers—and is adding new products to his
shelves regularly.

Future plans also include green cleaning educational seminars
for neighborhood residents, schools and businesses.
